From http://scriptingchange.blogspot.com:
"Scripting Change is an opportunity for writers to support causes in which we believe, with our voices and words, by contributing to an electronic book, the proceeds from which will be donated to a nonprofit organization. (This time,) the recipient is the MSTR Scholarship Foundation (which) aims to help those students affected by chronic illness… by providing financial scholarships in recognition and support of their perseverance."
I figured out how to put my superheroine Holly into this. She is performing at a charity for people who need health insurance, and she is taught a lesson by some handicapped superheroes. I based this on superheroes like Daredevil, and upon my briefly meeting a couple young guys at the San Diego Comic Con who were working on a comic book. One of those guys suddenly had to sit down, and was gasping for breath. I asked what was wrong, and his companion said he had a bad heart. I had been feeling grumpy about my life and work and writing and etc., but right then and there, my life did not seem so bad.
Take a look at my cool bio (and other cool bios) on http://scriptingchange.blogspot.com/p/contributors.html. I'm on the bottom of the list, since it is ordered by last names.
When the ebook is available for sale, I will post a link where you can buy it.
P.S. No, I don't get paid for this story, but this is for a good cause.
